Terms of Use

The simple rules that make Outzy work for everyone.

Who can use Outzy

Anyone can create a kid account on Outzy. The kid account is free, forever. Parents who want chat oversight, custom challenges, and a family audit log subscribe to Outzy Family. The platform works without a subscribed parent; it is much better with one.

Account responsibilities

You are responsible for actions taken under your account. Keep your passkey-bound device safe. If you lose access, contact us; we will not provide passwords because Outzy does not have any.

Acceptable behaviour

No bullying, harassment, doxing, or content that endangers children. Reports are taken seriously and acted on. Repeated violations result in account closure and, where required, notification of law-enforcement.

Outz currency

Outz is an internal recognition unit, not money. It cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred between accounts, or otherwise withdrawn.

Subscriptions and trial

Outzy Family includes a 7-day free trial on first purchase, on either the monthly or yearly plan. Paid plans renew automatically. You can cancel any time from inside the app; access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. Apple Family Sharing is supported, one subscription covers both parents in your Apple Family.

In-app purchases via the stores

Subscriptions purchased on iOS go through the App Store and are billed by Apple under Apple's terms. Subscriptions purchased on Android go through the Play Store and are billed by Google. Subscriptions purchased on the website go through Stripe. Refund requests for store-side purchases go through the store; we honour the store's decision.

Changes

When we change these terms in a meaningful way, we email account holders at least 30 days in advance.

Governing law

Dutch law governs these terms; courts in Rotterdam have exclusive jurisdiction unless mandatory consumer law in your country says otherwise.
